Ive paid more for these in stores. So it came rolled up in a box. Wire is smooth not sharp or anything like others ive experienced. The lights you wont know what color it is until you turn it on, I ordered blue and the correct color came. Hang them up when you are in a patient mood without your kids around. I accidentally tangled it and it took me about 20 minutes of pulling the end through and setting up the thumb tacks where I wanted it. I use the tacks and leave them sticking out slightly at an upward angle and then put the wire to rest in the gap in-between the wall and the tack. 33 FT I didn't think about it, almost goes around the entire room so I needed a few more tacks than I expected. but its cool. I like the way it looks at night when im watching movies I find blue is a soothing color. For 10 dollars I don't think anyone should be left with complaints unless they got a broken one or the wrong color. Remote has 10 different settings for light flashing patterns or just solid blue. I like emReally happy with these. They worked great throughout the holiday. I put the battery packs in baggies to add additional protection from rain and snow. They were on a few hours each night from Thanksgiving through New Year without requiring battery change. Pretty, inexpensive and no ugly electrical cords.Bought blue for Hanukkah. I keep them on solid. The remote is great so I could string them on the ceiling in the kitchen. Batteries lasted 2 weeks being on 3pm-10pm. The only difficult thing was I had a hard time keeping the curl standard for looks purposes but still happy with it.The remote is not so great. And 3 of the settings do nothing at all.I have several sets of these lights- one multi-color, one green, and two warm white. The remote is easy to use and the lights work inside or outside. I did have to change the batteries once during the holiday season. The batteries last around 3 weeks when used on the timer setting.I bought these for a small tinsel tree. The tree has one and a half strands on it, the other half is covered. The colors are pretty, more of a pastel look, which is what I wanted. The wires were silver, which blend into the tree. I am not crazy over the different modes of the lights for the reasons I bought them, but they are cool for other purposes. If you haven't used fairy lights before they can be a bit frustrating to use, but I guess all Christmas lights are!Happy with the lights and would buy them again.I bought these for an unfinished project I’m doing & they are just perfect! I love the length. My favorite part has to be the remote aspect with a timer button, it makes it soOoOo easy to use since I’ll be hiding the battery box. The color is a beautiful purple when on & when turned off it’s just a simple pretty silver color. I can’t wait to buy these in pink next!!!!I have bought many string lights for our family in the last couple of years and these are by far the worst ones. They are extremely small and dim lights. They are absolutely useless compared to others available on Amazon or many other stores. I actually have another set of purple lights from another brand right next to them right now for testing which makes them look pathetic. How anyone would even use these outside is ridiculous to me since as I already said they are basically useless inside.Bottom line, I do not recommend these to anyone. Look around on Amazon there are much better products than these. Buyer beware.**UPDATE** The seller contacted me and tried to make things right for me so kudos to them for at least trying but unfortunately the replacement product they sent me was only marginally better if at all, so my initial product review stands.When you look at the picture and it looks like what you want and it gets here and it is soo not what you think, it is a let down... The lights are purple, a nice soft purple, but the cord is very shiney silver/gold... In the picture, the cord is nice deep purple, which would go in a purple room perfectly... I will have to find another place for them, but they are pretty...Update: Was contacted and apology was given for photo not being accurate... As stated above, these lights are very pretty and work really well. Thank youI wanted to love these.The lights are really pretty but, the timer option has never worked. The batteries dont last as long as I would like.Pros: I bought 4 sets of lights, and any remote will work, regardless if it does not belong to that specific set of lights. Which is great, if you always lose the controller, like I do. :)cons: battery dies WAY too quickly, timer has not worked on any of the 4 sets of lights I bought.No option to turn the lights off manually. Have to have the remote.They arrived quickly in the middle of May, however I only got around to putting them up now (late June). Spent 45 minutes putting them up, put in the batteries and nothing happened. So I tried the second set I bought and same thing. Neither set works. I would have loved to see them lit up, but unfortunately both sets they sent to me do not work. Brand new batteries (just bought them specifically for the lights). At least they were on sale when I bought them.. but still unhappy that neither work.It works very well, the remote is easy to use. But the picture on Amazon shows a big ring of lights but in reality the ring is smaller than its battery box when in a ring. Although for my purposes it's great but if someone thinks they are big light bulbs they will be sadly surprised.
